  2. This record is a classic Funk-Jazz album from Africa. Listening to Soul Makossa brings back lots of memories. When around /74 I started to frequent the discos of Cologne and Bonn (then the capital of West Germany, only 25 Km away from Cologne), that album and the title song in particular was one of the anthems of the Afro-Soul clubs.
  3. I first heard this album on vinyl, in my brother's collection, I think in the '70's. I got to thinking about it, and looked for it, and found it, on phomirolidonli.ondepmauvetosotegescisibdada.infoinfo The title song, Soul Makossa, is everything I remembered it to be. The rest of the album is great, too. Well worth the money, if you like African rhythms and music/5(24).
